Learning with peers using co-development

Co-Development:

Co-Development aims to develop one’s professional skills using a learning method based on the real life experiences of people in the same position.

Co-Development is:

  • A simple, efficient and pragmatic approach to improve professional skills;
  • A structured and open method;
  • A professional and organisational growth.

The Co-Development group agrees to meet on a regular basis over a certain period;

A Co-Development group is composed of:

  • 5 to 8 people ready to share and learn from others;
  • A professional facilitator that will ensure of progress and learning;
  • Each member of the group is alternatively client – coach and client – coachee.

Each member of the group commits to share a real life situation and be open to suggestions.

The other members of the group will ask clarifying questions and eventually provide suggestions.

Each situation will be discussed using a 7 step structured method:

0. Workshop preparation (prior to workshop between Coached – Client and facilitator;

  1. Presentation of the situation by the Coached – Client to the Consultant – Coaches.
  2. Clarification questions by the Consultants – Coaches.
  3. Agreement between the Coached – Client and Consultants – Coaches.
  4. Ideation: questions, discovery, reactions, commentaries.
  5. Synthesis and Action plan for the Coached – Client.
  6. Learnings and evaluations by all.
  7. Action plan progress and learning transfers.

 

Investment: $350.00 per hour

Session duration: 1 & 1/2 hours per week over 5 to 8 weeks.

Session preparation and synthesis: 1 hour per session.
